The Southwest Horse Soccer Association has been created to bring together horse lovers that truely want to enjoy their horses in a fun and exciting way.
The Association is open to all equine breeds, and is not only structured to enjoy the explosive sport of horse soccer, (or Hoofball as the European countries like to call it), but we will also be working in conjunction with the "Arizona Chapter" of the "Great Western Paso Fino Horse Association", as well as the "New Beginnings Paso Fino Horse Rescue" and "Horses Help" of Phoenix, Arizona, both which are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.
Please join us on Saturday, September 24th at the Olsen's Equi-Fest in Prescott, Arizona. Our Youth Horse Soccer exhibition teams will be performing on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 PM in the main arena. Come join them in the fun and see what this new sport is all about.
On Thursday evening, October 21, 2010, the Rancho de La Dama Youth horse soccer exhibition team put on a 30-minute performance at the Arizona State Fair. Despite all the "creepy, spooky, scary' carnival rides and atmosphere, the horses performed at their best.
The final score was Orange team 1 & Green team 1.
